Walz has been the governor of Minnesota for 5 years, after beforehand serving within the U.S. Home of Representatives. Previous to that, he was a schoolteacher and a non-commissioned officer within the Military Nationwide Guard. He doesn’t seem to have made any public statements about cryptocurrencies throughout his tenure, although he did obtain (and later return) a $4,000 donation from former FTX engineering director Nishad Singh within the 2022 election cycle.
